Eduann Du Plessis is our Senior Draughtsman and has approximately 22 years’ experience in structural steel shop detailing and our Project Engineer has approximately 47 years’ experience.

ERD has the in-house capacity to shop detail an average of 120 Tons of steelwork per month.

Should the need arise we have a well establish detailing company, also with the latest Tekla Structures 3D drawing package that is capable of more than doubling our output capacity per month.

We work strictly according to the SAISC (South African Institute for Steel Construction) standards

With experience we understand the necessity for high quality fabrication drawings; hence we see ERD’s success dependent on these standards.
